Brava is developing a next generation blood test for heart attack: a point-of-care, high-sensitivity troponin test to assess patients with chest pain in 15 minutes. Rapid triage is critical to saving lives and improving quality of care in the emergency department. High-sensitivity troponin tests have demonstrated more efficient diagnosis and rule-out of heart attack. Rapid rule-out and safe discharge of low-risk patients eases crowding in the emergency department and reduces hospital admissions. Savings to the healthcare system are estimated at over $7 billion annually in the United States.

Carrie Mulherin, Brava Co-Founder and CMO commented, “The HyperAccelerator curriculum and interaction with mentors helped us to simplify and clarify our story and fill some gaps in our financial analysis tool box. I highly recommend the program to entrepreneurs looking to elevate their game another level.”
